NWH has executed over $500 million in capital projects and managed 3,600 rooms in the U.S. since 2010.

Javier Rosenberg

President

Javier Rosenberg is an accomplished hospitality executive with extensive international experience across multiple segments including luxury, upscale and select service. Prior to joining Northwood Hospitality, he was President of the Americas at Carlson Rezidor, where he was responsible for the performance of more than 700 owned, managed and franchised hotels, as well as the growth of the business. Other past experiences include extensive global operational roles in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia with companies including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, Swissotel, Marbella Club Hotel and Knightsbridge Partners.

With over 20 years of experience across operations and general management, Javier has led the operations of upscale and luxury hotels all over the world, including properties such as Raffles Hotel Singapore and MarbellaClub Hotel among others.

Throughout his career, Javier has worked closely with owners in managing and optimizing their assets. He has directed the renovation and re-positioning of multiple properties, leading to significant revenue generation improvements.

Javier’s experience across all disciplines in operations and management in the industry allows him to understand the challenges faced by those in the field. His ability to relate to individuals across all levels, speak the language of owners and operators, as well as his strong results and customer focus, have fueled his success since early in his career.

Javier is regarded as an inspirational leader by his teams, many of whom he has either hired, developed and/or promoted. He is a graduate cum laude of Boston University, School of Hospitality Administration;  where he also served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee.

Tricia Price

SVP Human Resources

Tricia Price joined Northwood Hospitality as Senior Vice President of human resources in 2017. She has overall responsibility for Human Resources for the company’s properties and corporate staff. She is a key leader in driving the organization’s culture and human resources strategies.

Tricia has over 18 years of experience in the Human Resources profession. Prior to joining Northwood, Tricia worked for Two Roads Hospitality (formerly Destination Hotels) as a Vice President of People Services, where she led the strategic development and optimization of all employee health and welfare programs.

Tricia has extensive due diligence experience related to mergers, acquisition and disposition. Prior experience includes roles at Paytech Inc. and Sage Hospitality.

Rich Flores

SVP Sales & Marketing

Rich Flores is an accomplished hospitality executive with over 20 years of experience leading marketing, branding, sales and eCommerce teams for both branded and independent hotel portfolios.

Prior to joining Northwood Hospitality, Rich served as the Vice President of Branding for Carlson Rezidor, where he led and managed both the Radisson and Radisson Red brands. During his tenure he was responsible for globally launching the Radisson Red brand. Prior experiences included senior leadership roles with the Wyndham Hotel Group and Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants. Rich led strategic marketing and branding efforts for Wyndham’s full-service hotel brands and joint partnerships including Dream and Planet Hollywood Hotels. He served as the Vice President of Marketing for Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants where he was responsible for the creation and marketing of boutique hotel concepts.

Rich’s hospitality career started with Meliá Hotels International as Director of Marketing for the Americas, where he led multiple brands including the brand creation and global launch of the ME by Meliá. He was also named an industry “Top 100 Rising Star” by Travel Agent Magazine.

Rich attended Florida International University where he majored in Communications.

Karim Lakhani

EVP F&B & Procurement

Karim Lakhani is the Executive Vice President, Food and Beverage/Procurement of Northwood Hospitality. Mr. Lakhani has 32 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and holds a diverse and innovative skillset whose tenure has included roles as an award-winning chef in addition to various senior management positions. Prior to Northwood, he served as senior vice president food & beverage and procurement at HEI/Merritt Hospitality, one of the nation’s largest hotel ownership/management groups.

Prior to joining HEI/Merritt, he was senior vice president food & beverage and procurement at Interstate Hotels and Resorts/Bridgestreet , one of the world’s largest independent hotel management companies.

During his 32-year career, Mr. Lakhani has also worked for Trusthouse Forte, the Watergate Hotel, The King Edward Hotel, CapStar Hotels & MeriStar Hotels & Resorts, in addition to award winning two and three star Michelin chefs – Michel Richard (Citronelle), Alain Ducasse, Jean Louis Palladin, among others.

Other notable accolades include his time spent on the Food & Beverage advisory boards for Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels and the Night Club and Bar Board.

Karim is a graduate of the culinary arts program at the George Brown College in Toronto, Canada.

Lou Lavaux

SVP Finance

Lou Lavaux serves as Senior Vice President of Finance for Northwood Hospitality, overseeing all accounting and finance functions. Mr. Lavaux has over 30 years of financial experience, beginning in accounting and progressing to a range of operational and regional finance roles. He’s spent the past 16 years in the hospitality sector and has a background in multifamily and commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Northwood Hospitality, he was the SVP of Operations Finance with Sage Hospitality, where he was responsible for all accounting and finance for the hotel management side of Sage and led a team of 60 professionals.  Lou’s past experience includes time with Millennium Hotels and Resorts as CFO and time with Exclusive Resorts as Senior Vice President of Finance.

Lou’s experience coupled with his energy and passion for hospitality has enabled him to become a trusted resource to the team members in the hotels and restaurants.  Lou is most proud being an accessible leader and doing all he can to make those around him successful. He is a graduate from Colorado State University, School of Business.
